Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Crocko ("Crocko", "we", "us", "our"), including our website, dashboard, QR review pages, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Crocko

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us about yourself and your business, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

2. What the Service does

Crocko helps businesses collect genuine feedback from their customers via QR codes, and uses AI to help turn that feedback into a polished draft that the customer can review, edit, and post to Google in their own words. We do not write, post, or submit reviews on a customer's behalf, and we do not pay, incentivize, or pressure anyone to leave a review of any particular rating. Review gating (selectively routing only positive feedback to public review sites) is against Google's policies and is not something Crocko is designed to do.

AI-drafted text is a starting point, not a guarantee of accuracy, tone, or outcome. Customers and business owners are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before it is published anywhere.

3. Your account and your content

You keep ownership of the content you and your customers submit through the Service (business details, questions, review drafts, replies, branding assets, etc. "Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Crocko a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display it solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service for you.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to collect and share any customer information (such as names, phone numbers, or voice recordings) you choose to gather through the Service, and for complying with applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Plans, billing, trials, and cancellation

Crocko offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) billed monthly in INR. Paid plans may include a free trial period; if you start a trial, your card (when provided) will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from Plan settings at no cost.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel or downgrade at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we never see or store your full card details.

We may change plan pricing or features going forward. If a change affects your active subscription, we'll give you reasonable notice before it takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, request, or post fake, incentivized, or misleading reviews;
  • Collect personal information from customers without a lawful basis or appropriate notice;
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service;
  • Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for us or others.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers — including Google (Gemini / Vertex AI, Speech-to-Text, Places, OAuth), Razorpay (payments), and Resend (email delivery) — to operate. Your use of features built on these providers is also subject to their respective terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or behaviour.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, that reviews will be posted, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crocko and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account settings — this permanently removes your business, reviews, QR data, and billing history associated with your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, and we'll try to give notice where reasonably possible.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
